Hahahaha
You are mixing this up dude. You show a Tissot Gentleman (C07.811) but that does not have the plastic parts, it is just the PRX (C07.111).
First: timex 34mm Current fave: tissot prx quartz silver dial Future watch: Seiko SBSC009
No seiko?
This movement turned me off watches I would have owned if they had a movement like an eta or selita. Unfortunate choice I think, beneficial to the producer but not reflected in their pricing structure.
And that movement is still more expensive than a NH35
There are 2 type of powermatic 80. Low & premium version. So, according to them, it’s a system 51 movement. Disposal movement.
Quartz prx>>>>>>>
GMT : Greenwich Meridian Time .
My first Casio was a TS-1200, the temperature watch. I got it for Christmas, 1987 I believe. The temperature function was such a cool feature. It was similar in shape to the F-91W. When I got back into watches, I bought the F-91W because it reminded me of my old Casio.
I agree hardex is disappointing I’d rather have acrylic at least you can polish it
1st gmt not saphire
'When it comes to service, they'll send the movement to Switzerland and put a brand new movement in your watch'. Of course that won't work out expensive at all will it? 😂😂😂 How incredibly dumb, a whole new movement at your expense instead of just paying for a service with a tiny new pallet fork. I really hope Rolex, AP, A Lange & Sohne, Omega, Jaeger Le Coultre, Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, etc., don't adopt this level of stupidity.
Still need a dive watch if you dive. I only surf but I like to have a watch on if I need to leave at a certain time
I bought a San Martin GMT World Timer and the quality for the price was surprising! It is slowly becoming my beater watch.
The only rules I follow for watches are matching the color of the leather strap to my belt & shoes, and matching the color of the metal case to my ring & belt buckle.
I will never understand why Seiko discontinued the SKX, instead of just banging a new movement in it 🤷🏻♂️ I personally don’t care about sapphire but a 4r36 or NH35 movement in the SKX would be perfect.
Shitters all
I share your struggles of a 6.5" wrist! Thanks for the content you put out.
😂😂Casio is S Tier whether ya like it or not!! Lol lol
Just get a girls mini mouse watch 😅
The teal colourway is the one I ended picking up as at a price of $400 it was too good to resist but would have preferred the champagne. The teal also suffers from legibility issues but the case is so unique and it wears pretty well on my 6.5" wrist. Definitely order another strap or two for it but be aware of the 19mm lug width.
That bulova looks like the really cool omega seamaster soccer
Ready for the landfill watches 🗑️🗑️🗑️
"Made some improvements like innhouse movements" who tf buy a tens of thousand dollar watch without innhouse😂
They're not properly regulated out of the box so no regulator means you can't adjust it. As for plastic parts mechanical watches are bought for the mechanism. If you want plastic parts in your watch then buy a cheap quartz.
Bro needs to get a girl friend
Quarz ✌🏻
P.o.s pm80. Gimme a 2824 or 4r35/6 or s200 any day
First watches: Citizen Ny0040 and Seiko skx009 Favourite: Cartier Santos Next purchases: Omega Seamaster Professional and Tudor Royal
One watch never makes a collection.
Im a Mercedes-Benz owner and im still a Casio fanboy.
Orient Star 👍
Great info!
Glad it was helpful
Glad it was helpful
Have a Khaki King with this movement, crown and stem came off. Just winding it one day, nothing special, didn’t bash it against anything, wasn’t on my wrist and it completely pops off. This isn’t to say the movement sucks or anything but definitely lowered my opinion on Swatch owned brands.
Lol, wow. Was it under warranty?
I have a Khaki Field Auto and it developed a fault. The rotor spun round when I hand wound it. It was fixed under guarantee and has been fine ever since.
This guy has never been asked this question. Just needed a reason to make a short about the powermatic 80…… he is acting like he gets 50 emails a day about the powermatic 80.
I have gotten lots of questions about it when I was making videos about the Tissot PRX. Recently, not so much, but I recorded this a few months ago and just got around to uploading it
@@ChronometerCheck I am just rustling ya feathers. You make good videos. Only thing is….. you do not cover orient star.
The watches you mentioned is not available in India
Harbourside isnt a dive watch.
I went with the quartz models specifically because I didn't want the plastic parts in a mechanical watch. Cuts down on servicing costs for me as well.
Totally understandable. Enjoy!
I have the limited edition Seiko Quartz Solar SNE179 V158-0AB0 railroad approved
Actually the easiest reason is just when they stop showing right time.. In case it's mechanical watches it usually happens pretty fast.. 😅
Why haven’t you uploaded an actual video in almost a year?
Full videos take a lot of time to do well and I don't want to do a half-baked job.
G shock dw5600 i want breitling a17380 and hope you can do a vid on that also as an alternative breitling galactic day date
That's why I dont like the prx because it has that movement
Yeah, many aren't a fan
For me, an integrated bracelet is usually a dealbreaker.
I have a seiko coutura
I own a blue Gentleman Powermatic 80. Outstanding piece. It proudly sits between my Omega and Frederique Constant.
Really nice looking watch. Enjoy it
The Gentleman has a better movement
The gentleman has the 25 jewel all metal movement !
I’ll pass on plastic
I get it. To each their own
Eco-Drive is powered by ANY light, not just solar. Huge difference, solar watches will barely charge on a cloudy day. Citizen is also over 100 years old and has been making Eco-Drive for over 40 years. Citizen is FAR more impressive than its Japanese counterparts, namely Seiko. They’ve been strictly making ALL their movements (Eco-Drive AND Autos) in-house, ONLY in Japan. Seiko outsources to multiple different countries, that’s low quality. Citizen’s Satellite and more importantly, Radio-Controlled tech is light years ahead of literally any competition, tech-wise. I’ve seen multiple videos of you and you sound uneducated on Citizen’s products.
I Don’t want a new movement.
You can always take it to an independent watchmaker when it's time for a service
